PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE:

Hello! I’m Antoine L. Robinson, NCCP and I am the elected President of the Metrolina Paralegal Association ("MPA") for the 2010-2011 year. I look forward to serving as President. I will continue the immense tradition of past Presidents with continuing to build MPA as the best paralegal association for aspiring and seasoned paralegals. This association will continue to help paralegals reach their educational and networking needs.

As President, I would like to welcome you to MPA and thank you for your interest in MPA. MPA was created to promote paralegal education and networking. We presently hold general membership meetings on the second Thursday of each month at 12:00 noon at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church located at 115 West 7 th Street in Charlotte. At our monthly meetings, we have various speakers throughout the legal community offering their time and talent to speak with us about different legal issues that will benefit the paralegal with their careers.

MPA has two seminars per year that are great opportunities for paralegals to obtain the required CLE or NALA certification and NC Bar Association paralegal certification. Our next seminar is scheduled for September. MPA also has an Annual Seminar which will be scheduled in February 2011. Both seminars are all day events with excellent speakers and great opportunities to network. Please look for more information to come about the seminars.
