Reporting to our Vice President, General Counsel, the selected candidate will be involved in summarizing legal documents, performing records and legal research, checking legal documents for accuracy, preparing reports and correspondence, drafting legal documents and for filing organizing and maintaining files. The position will support the legal department in litigation matters.

Candidates for this position will possess 5-8 years of experience with at least three years of Corporate Paralegal experience.. Candidate who are Certified by a recognized Paralegal Program and who have a Certified Legal Assistant designation will be given preference for this opportunity. The preferred compensation range for this position will be $55,000-$62,000 plus benefits.

Corporate Paralegal
Curtiss-Wright Controls has an immediate opening for an experienced Corporate Paralegal at its Charlotte headquarters in Ballantyne. The successful candidate will be a corporate “generalist” able to provide assistance to the General Counsel in connection with a diverse range of business matters, including acquisitions and divestments, corporate governance, litigation, contract management and other projects as required. Responsibilities will include Corporate Secretarial duties such as annual filings and minute book maintenance, review and coordination of commercial contracts, preparation and management of acquisition database and purchase documentation.

Candidates should have at least 4 years prior corporate legal experience, preferably with concentration in corporate governance and M&A. Candidates must be able to multi-task, work independently and at a high pace, demonstrate initiative and organizational talents and interact effectively with management.
