President’s Message:
Welcome to the Metrolina Paralegal Association (“MPA”).
Thank you for your interest in MPA. MPA was created to promote paralegal
education and networking. We presently have general membership meetings the
second Thursday of the month at 12:00 noon at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church
located at 115 West 7th Street in Charlotte. We also have an all day annual
seminar the second Thursday in February. Additionally, we have Octoberfest all
day seminar the second Thursday in October. Both events are great opportunities
to obtain the required CLE for NALA certification and NC Bar Association
paralegal certification.
The 2007 Octoberfest will be held on Thursday,
October 11, at Crowne Plaza located at 201 South McDowell Street in Charlotte.
Look for our flyer which will be forwarded to members soon and posted to the
website.
We are also looking forward to our Holiday
Social which will be during the evening of Wednesday, December 5, 2007. More
detailed information will be available soon. This will be a wonderful
opportunity for networking with other members of MPA and with our Patron
Members.
If you would like to serve on any of our
committees or if you have any ideas or suggestions, please do not hesitate to
contact one of the Executive Committee members.
